Today is a good day!

Perhaps you’ve been through a difficult time and have seen Gods deliverance. Share with me your victory! Tell us about Gods wonderful work in your life.

Or, perhaps, like myself, you are going through a difficult time right now. You’ve prayed, pleaded and cried out to our God.

Let us not be discouraged. Remember Gods word reminds us to trust in Him with all our heart and not to lean on our own understanding. No matter how you feel keep seeking his will in all you do and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Never waver in believing Gods promise. Let your faith grow stronger so it brings glory to Him. Be fully convinced God is able to do whatever it is he promised. (Romans 4:20-21) After all, God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? Never…

So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead. You just have to endure it for a little while. This will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire test and purifies gold-though your faith is more precious then mere gold. (1Peter 1:6-7)

Lastly always remember, we know God causes everything to work together for the good of us who love Him. (Romans 8:28)

Be patient, Gods timing is always perfect!

Everyone goes through this. Those feelings we often hate to admit. Feelings of doubt or self worth. In this day and age and the stigma society projects makes us afraid or embarrassed to admit we struggle with it. You are not alone in this. EVERYONE struggles with it in a particular area of their own lives. However, we don’t have to let it define us.

Let me tell you something, God doesn’t want you to live a life of insecurities. Living with insecurities is like being in a prison you put yourself in. It’s bondage keeping you from your true potential and worth. Don’t be conformed by this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind (Romans 12:2).

Our mind is a powerful!

Did you know that the enemy’s biggest weapon against us is doubt? He wants us to feel insecure over the meaning and purpose of our lives. He uses our own thoughts to question the truth. This is the total opposite of what God says about you. God has our future in his hands, with plans for us to prosper (Jeremiah 29:11). Whatever it may be you’re going through, give it to God. Enjoy every bit of your life, no matter the circumstances.

He’s got our back!

The word in Proverbs teaches us to trust the Lord with All our heart. Don’t trust in your own thoughts or understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Our thoughts may produce a false outlook in our current state. Expectations are dangerous because once we don’t meet them, discouragement and disappointment start to manifest. But remember, He is always with you. No need to be afraid or discouraged (Deuteronomy 31:8). True security comes when you recognize that God will supply every need of yours according to His riches and glory (Philippians 4:19).

When struggling with feelings of insecurity, never forget God’s promises. He will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in Him (Isaiah 26:3).

Ready for a new car?

My car is over a decade old now. I’m still in love with it! Sometimes I think to myself, it’s time for a new car. Yet, I can’t seem to bring myself to car shop.

You see, I am an “Ultimate Driving Machine” owner. Since as far back as I can remember I’ve always wanted a BMW. Not to go into depth but there was something about them that always captured my attention. Of course, I thought I couldn’t afford one. I was very content with the car I had. The word tells us to enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don’t have. Just dreaming about nice things is meaningless- like chasing the wind (Ecclesiastes 6:9). It wasn’t till after an awful car accident that totaled my little Mazda 3 at the time, I was forced to go car shopping. I wasn’t planning on buying a BMW. It just happened to be the right moment, the right sales lot and the right price.

We as humans plan our own course, but He establishes our steps (Proverbs 16:9). The Lord will guide you always and satisfy your needs (Isaiah 58:11). God works all things together for our good(Romans 8:28) and when we delight ourselves in the Lord, he will give us the desires of our hearts(Psalms 37:4). God wants us to be happy and enjoy life. What parent do you know wouldn’t want their children to enjoy life?

“So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.” – Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 NLT

Remember give thanks always and for everything to God (Ephesians 5:20) for he is good to us (Psalm 118:1).

Can’t wait to be a wife?

Have you and your partner not agreed to walk together? Have you both not declared that you want to spend the rest of your lives together?
Of course we have. But the honest truth, sometimes one or the other is not ready. Ask God in prayer to direct you in a correct path.
Jesus tells us what marriage is. It is between one man and one women and they are to be one flesh sexually, spiritually, emotionally, financially, in ownership, when making decisions and ultimate goal to serve God as one. When God joins a husband and wife in one flesh, nothing shall separate them.
Marriage is the greatest tool of sanctification. God uses marriage to conform us in the image of Christ. Marriage brings out many blessings, unconditional love, patience, mercy, grace, faithfulness, loyalty, and much more.
When we become a wife we have to understand that God has given you a man who He loves and cares for. We women are extremely powerful. We are key in building him up in faith and help him carry out his role in marriage. We were created for him and from him.
The word of God definitely guides us to be a virtuous wife. It urges the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God (Titus 2:4-5). These Proverbs below gives us a deeper understanding of what it means to be a wife.
Proverbs 12:4 “A wife of noble character is her husbands crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.”
Proverbs 14:1 “A wise women builds her house, but with her own hands a foolish one tears hers down.”
Out of the love for Jesus we must submit to our husbands. That doesn’t make us inferior in any way. Jesus submitted to the will of God and it doesn’t make him any less than His Father. Quite contrary, they are ONE. Submission shows strength, love and humility.
I encourage you to open your bibles and read what the word of God has to say.

I will leave you with two of my favorite quotes on marriage. My prayer is for you to find the husband God has for you. Trust me, if you’re single, the one is out there. And if you’re in a relationship, put him in Gods hands to be molded for marriage because he who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from God (Proverbs 18:22).

“I have known many happy marriages, but never a compatible one. The whole aim of marriage is to fight through and survive the instant when incompatibility becomes questionable.”

-G.K. Chesterton

Why are you shaken?

Do you ever feel like something is wrong? This isn’t the way it’s supposed to be. Why am I going through this?

There is one simple answer to all your questions. God is pulling you aside and telling you; because I love you.

But God, if you love me, why are you allowing this to happen?

Oh child! It’s because He loves you too much to allow you to walk one more day with that burden. He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Where is your faith?

You are now being set apart for God’s purpose and fitted to live for His glory. The way trials accomplish this is explained in 1 Peter 1:6-7 .

The true believer’s faith will be made sure by the trials we experience so that we can rest in the knowledge that it is real and will last forever.

You will develop godly character, and that enables us to “rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us” (Romans 5:3-5).

Our Heavenly Father doesn’t want us to suffer in any way. He doesn’t want us to be afraid of anything. His word says we are more than conquerors. He also said, “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).

So why are you walking in fear and not standing in His love? Don’t be shaken!

Below is a link to a song that will remind you of who you are!

God sees you, so stand in his love!

Do you love me?

Gods love letter to you & me!

I love you! (John 3:16)  I created you in my image (Genesis 1:27) and I called you “very good” (Genesis 1:31).  I knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13).  I know the number of the hairs on your head (Matthew 10:30) and I am familiar with all your ways (Psalm 139:3).  My precious thoughts of you are as countless as the sand on the seashore (Psalm 139:17-18).

I am Love (1 John 4:16) and the greatest commandment that I have for you is that you love (Matthew 22:37-40).  My love is made complete in you when you receive my love, love me, and love others (1 John 4:7-21).  To show you how to live this life of love I’ve given you Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17), laws that honor me and are good and pleasing to you (Psalm 119).
